Felicitas is seeking one high soprano to increase its size and versatility. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings in Woodford Green (very near to the Central Line) and gives three concerts each year as well as undertaking the occasional foreign tour, festival and CD recording. A major fund raising activity was held by Felicitas in the form of an in-house arranged, light hearted quiz evening with a twist – in addition to the expected marathon round and raffle, it incorporated a mid-break game, amazing CDs to buy for £1 and an auction of generously given items and pledges, which even included holiday rentals in Wales and Suffolk. A great night was enjoyed by around 100 quizers, raising £1,300!
